Every morning, my family and I enjoy our coffee with biscotti. We usually buy them, but why not try to make them at home? This recipe is very easy, and I promise everyone will love them!

INGREDIENTS:
6 tablespoons of softened butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of butter rum syrup
2 cups of all purpose flour
1/2 cup of dark cocoa powder (any cocoa powder will do fine)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Cream the softened butter and sugar
Add in the eggs one at a time, until well incorporated
Add in the vanilla and butter rum
Mix in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda
Add in additional flour, the dough should be a little sticky
Shape the dough like a bread loaf, and lightly flatten the top with your hands
Place it on a baking sheet and into the oven it goes!
Bake for 30 minutes
After baking, take it out and let it cool for until it isn't so hot
When slightly cooled, cut it into the shape of a biscotti. You can make them as big as you wish, just make sure they fit into your coffee mug!
Place the slices back onto the baking sheet, and place them facing up. Bake each side for an additional 8-10 minutes to get the perfect crunch factor.
After both sides have finished baking, let them cool on a rack
After cooling, you may dip them in chocolate
Enjoy!
