I was watching Giada on the food channel and was craving the tart she made! It looked absolutely delicious, so of course I had to make it myself! I thought I would try it out, and continue to share her recipe so none of you would miss out. Definitely a very unique tart. Hope you join me in making this marvelous dessert!

INGREDIENTS FOR TART SHELL:
1/3 cup of walnuts
1 teaspoon of chopped rosemary
3/4 cup and 2 teaspoons of flour
1 teaspoon of sugar
1/4 teaspoon of salt
6 tablespoons of unsalted butter, in cubes
INGREDIENTS FOR FILLING:
4 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of honey
1/4 cup of heavy cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of chopped walnuts
1 teaspoons of chopped rosemary
INGREDIENTS FOR ORANGE WHIPPED CREAM:
1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
2 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of orange zest
1/4 cup of fresh orange juice
DIRECTIONS:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
For the tart shell, gather all ingredients as needed
In a food processor, pulse the walnuts, rosemary, flour and sugar
Add in cubed butter and pulse. It should look like sand
Pour in a tangle spoon of water. The dough should come together. Place the dough around a plastic wrap and refrigerate for half an hour.
Until the dough is getting ready, let's finish up the filling
Melt butter in a small saucepan until fragrant. Add in brown sugar, honey, heavy cream, vanilla and salt.
Mix that together, and mix in walnuts and rosemary
After the dough is done, roll it out on a lightly floured surface. The dough will be very crumbly so be very gentle! After the dough is rolled out to the size of your pan, place it on the pan
Place the filling on top of the tart crust
Bake until the filling is thick and starts to bubble, approximately 35 minutes
For the orange Whipped Cream, in a bowl of a stand mixer, combine the heavy cream, sugar, orange zest and orange juice. Beat until soft peaks appear
After the tart is done cooling, add your whipped cream son top, and your ready to serve!
